Summary

Implement actions in collaboration with the broader healthcare system stakeholders in order to improve patient journey and optimize their follow up through a global disease approach.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :
  • Identify all stakeholders involved in the patient journey at the regional/national level and all their interaction in between them 
  • Provide an analysis of the healthcare organization and Medico-Economic and its evolution: understanding of the global rare disease(s) approach and the patient pathway at the regional/national level 
  • Develop and Implement a dedicated Regional Disease approach action plan, with priorities, in order to strengthen this global approach regarding the patient journey, both internally and externally. 
  • Become the preferred Insmed contact, in our responsibilities area, for our stakeholders and develop a strong relationship with healthcare providers for daily support by coordinating regional and cross regional interactions and by facilitating the interaction with the all Insmed team (interface with all the departments within Insmed) 
  • Ensure follow up action plan deliveries and budget 
  • Disseminate information and promote awareness regarding this global approach on these priorities and its environment: set up f/f meeting (+visio), local/regional/national meetings/events, implement partnership with external stakeholders and attend to scientific congresses 
  • Establish and maintain a close relationship with health authorities, regional health agencies (ARS), payers (CPAM), healthcare professionals, healthcare network (“Filières de Soins”) and patient groups to facilitate and to optimize patient journey and global disease approach 
  • Provide the necessary support to the nurses and team carrying out the patient support program 
Requirements :
  • Advanced Degree in Medical Science or equivalent in Healthcare Organization/Medico-Economics (PhD, PharmD or MD) 
  • 8 years minimum of experience in pharmaceutical industry field functions, and especially in hospital environment 
  • Good knowledge of hospital organization and global disease approach especially in rare diseases 
  • Developed skills in medical education, cross-functional coordination and project management 
  • Proven ability to establish strong scientific partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders 
  • Good capability to interact with diverse interlocutors: healthcare providers, institutions, patient associations, regional/national decisions makers… 
  • Elaborate an action plan/recommendation and define priorities of actions based on deep analysis 
  • Patient and Caregivers oriented mindset 
  • Good English level
